When I graduated high school, I decided to come to New York City and get as much experience as I could, to take someday with me to Colombia.
In New York, I graduated from the Two Year Musical Theatre Conservatory at The New York Film Academy, where I had incredible teachers such as Bob Kale, Seth Reich and Carl Danielsen. At NYFA I also had the opportunity of studying Film by the side of the amazing Blanche Baker and Stephen Nachamie. I've been living in New York for two years and it's been crazy! I've met fantastic people, seen astonishing productions and learned SO much from everyone and everything.
I love my family, my friends, animals (specially elephants), learning everyday, reading a good book, watching new productions and meeting new people!
I was born in Bogotá, Colombia. When I was five, my parents took me to see a musical where one of the characters was a kid, and all I could think about was "I want to be that kid".
A few months later, I started my musical theatre education back in Colombia and a year later I was part of a school production. In 2009, I Started my career in Oliver! as part of Misi Productions, Colombia's biggest theatre company, which I'm still part of and which I love with all my heart, specially the director, Maria Isabel Murillo. After 12 years of being part of Misi, I've had the opportunity of working with amazing people like Rob Barron, Jacquie Bird and my incredible friend Valeriano Lanchas.
I am also part of an Irish Jig Company named Fuego Celta, which I've been part of for 5 years. Before graduating high school, I decided to direct and choreograph the first musical of my high school, The Lion King, which was an incredible experience.
